As some of you know, LA AX is in the middle of a transition of venues and are currently without a space to host our Grand Slam tournament. Our amazing friends at Axe Kickers in Seattle, WA have offered their venue to us so we can host our event!
To make this weekend as epic as possible, we have teamed up with Axe Kickers and are going to host our Golden State Grand Slam the same weekend as their Seattle Throwdown Major Tournament. That means there will be 5 total bids on the line for Round 2 of the Wilson Cup!
The Golden State Grand Slam will be thrown using the IATF Premier Ruleset and is part of the official IATF Tournament Circuit.
The top 4 throwers from the Grand Slam Tournament will get entry into Round 2 of the Wilson Cup in Toronto, Canada!

Axe Kickers will be hosting 3 events throughout the weekend that we encourage everyone to sign up for!
Thursday February 12, 2026 they will be hosting a Marathon league starting at 9am with practice.
Friday evening starting at 5pm (this is our best guess at what the start time will be) will be the Seattle Throwdown Big Axe Tournament.
Sunday will be the Seattle Throwdown Major Marquee Tournament! Starting with practice at 10am, this 64 Person double elimination Premier tournament will be awarding a bid to Round 2 of the Wilson Cup to its champion!

Winner of this Tournament will receive a bid into the Under 70 Tournament at the 2026 Wilson Cup

This tournament is open to anyone whose 12-month Standard average as listed on AxeScores.com is 70 or below (Premier 63 or below) as of January 31st, 2026

3 Musketeers
3 Musketeers is a team game consisting of 3 throwers per team.
Teams will submit their throwing order to the scorekeeper prior to each match.
Throwing order can change from match to match.
The first thrower in each teams order will throw Round 1, followed by the second thrower for
Round 2, etc.
The gameplay is tournament format best 3-of-5 rounds at the beginning of the tournament and ending in best 4-of-7.
Throwing order rolls over, so Thrower 1 throws in Round 4, Thrower 2 throws Round 5, etc.
Pool Play Format (Group Stage, then single elim.)
